Hugo makes sure that no horse is overlooked and all are treated as individuals. Attention is paid to every tiny detail, care is taken to make sure horses are physically and mentally in the best state they can be in order for them to perform to the best of their ability on the racecourse.
Hugo is very hands on, he likes to ride out each horse on occasions to get a personal feel for the stage each individual is at, as well as listening carefully to what the regular rider has to say.
A state-of-the-art veterinary team are on hand night and day for Hugo’s horses. The stables are routinely visited to monitor horses progress even if they don’t have a problem enabling the best diagnostics and care.
The yard currently has 15 boxes, paddocks, and all of the facilities associated with a modern day state of the art racehorse training stable with room for growth in future. We have direct access on to the Avilly-Saint-Léonard region of the France Galop training centre with the racecourse just a short hack away through the forest.
